El Dante

El Dante is a six piece band of highly skilled musicians from around the nation that have met each other in this global village of a town (a.k.a Bend, Oregon). After establishing themselves as one of Bend's best party dance bands through several personnel changes, this band really took form when Gabe Johnson (formerly of Jive Talkin' Robots & Soulwork) joined the band. Johnson's "funk 'n roll" approach helped marry the band's sense of groove and its penchant for melody while fattening up the rhythm section. Mitch Peay (drums), Tyler Mason (bass), Erik Murdock (keys), Jarrod Donetelli (percussion), and Reuben Marzel Sampson (Vox) round out the rest of El Dante’s crew. Their music can be classified as, "Funkifizated Volcanic Soul Rock.” El Dante lays down the Funk and drives home the Rock with stellar skill and ferocious presence.
